Tommy, the turtle, (tortuga). The last family called him "Pete" but he's looks like such a "Tommy"! He lives in our yard. Brian feeds him lettuce every day and an occasional apple for holidays - which are many here! Fiesta time!

This is one view of our kitchen. The open door is the pantry - a very important part of the kitchen. The closed door goes out to the laundry room. All the appliances in the kitchen are brand new to us. Actually, the refrigerator was the only old appliance - really old - and it broke down after our first two weeks here, so now ALL the appliances are brand new. But we enjoy them all.
This next picture is looking in the other direction in our kitchen, as if you turned your head and looked right instead of left from the dining room door. Notice the water cooler. It's what we must use - no potable tap water. The phone is on the wall directly above this side table. It rings really loudly. It's the only thing that can be heard throughout the entire house. It's our Mexican line.
